Color consulting and other color advice for painting your home
When you hire SFP to paint your home, you get more than just experienced, professional painters. Part of our service is assisting you with color selection. We will provide you with resources available to us, to make your choices easier.
Our Color tools: Many customers find our "color tools" a useful resource. Included in it are thousands of samples, color fandecks, a color wheel, books and literature on design and decor.
Color testing: Color swatches are small representations of what your walls or surfaces will look like. It may be difficult to visualize what certain colors will look like in different room settings, lighting conditions, or you may find color swatches are just too small. One of our available services is creating color test patches in different areas of a room. Many customers have used this service as it eases the fear of choosing the wrong color.
Color consultation: SFP is a member of Seattle area Benjamin Moore Painting and Decorating Services. As a result we have access to their vast color resources. On the team we have Eric Schroeder as our Interior Designer and color consultation expert. Upon contracting with our clients, Eric will spend an informative hour with you, assisting in your overall look and feel of your project.
Scientists found that actual physiological changes take place in humans when exposed to certain colors. Color can stimulate, excite, depress, tranquilize, increase appetite and of course create a feeling of warmth or cool.
The exterior of our homes requires some decorating attention as well. It is after all, our "face to the world", the statement we make to our neighbours and the first impression we make to our guests.
